Small Improvements has grown organically in the true sense of it’s name. However now, one of the projects we tackled during our company wide gathering in Europe was to rethink the interface. We all sat down together and brainstormed about the layout, usability and consistency of the tool. Our overall goal remains: To create a simple yet effective performance management tool that is easy, intuitive and even fun to use for staff as well as HR. We will share screenshots and collect feedback from our current users before rolling it out so if you have any suggestions or ideas, please share them!
I loved being able to work from Europe while surrounded by family, friends as well as colleagues that I usually only get to see via Skype. As a result of the close collaboration, our team at Small Improvements grew together stronger. We created a new office space, had a summer party as well as produced some video footage for competitions, recruiting purposes and general ‘about us’ stuff. Watch this space for more to follow.
While in Berlin, a special surprise awaited me. I got promoted to ‘Director of Marketing’ which was announced by a personalised new iPad! Woohoo, double whammy! I shall be carrying this sexy little toy to all conferences and meetings from now on. Thanks again, Per! 🙂
